All of the Manor's six rooms have private ensuite bathrooms. The four spacious upstairs rooms open onto the quiet, comfortable
library and all have large windows that afford views of the
glacier, gardens and landscaped grounds.

Decorated in French blue and green, the Ambrosia Room’s
canopied four-poster queen bed beckons to you after a luxurious
soak in its double Jacuzzi tub. Fall asleep to the sounds of
the fountain and the brook outside your bedroom windows.

The Charles Darwin Room, named for the uncle of the original
owner of the Manor, features a handcrafted four-poster queen
bed of birch twigs and a stunning
view of Kokanee Glacier. Its
private bath has both a tub and a shower

With a splendid view of Kokanee Glacier, the Commander’s
Room is decked out in teal blue and gold, much to the taste
of a sea-faring man. The high queen bed features batik covers
from far-away lands, and the wood-paneled private bath has a
shower.

The Lady Caroline Room, with an antique queen bed from India,
is a cheerful yellow room that captures the morning sun. The
room has a lovely view into the forest, allowing you to spy
on the wildlife. Enjoy a long soak in the private bath’s
claw-foot tub.

The ground floor guest rooms also offer tranquility and splendid
views of the grounds.

The Study, where Cdr. Harrison would pen his correspondence
or entertain friends by the fireplace, also has a private porch
looking over the brook, gardens and Purcell Mountains. It’s
a wrenching decision to climb out of the Chinese silk covers
on the queen bed to head into the large shower of its private
bath.

The Sun Room, our newest and cosiest, has a delightful double
bed canopied in red and a gorgeous view of the gardens and Purcell
Mountains. Its private bath has a Jacuzzi tub and shower.

Be sure to set aside time to stroll the Manor grounds. There's
a self-guided historic walking tour that features vignettes
of the estate's past, taking you past English flower gardens,
ancient trees, and secluded gardens and ponds. A two-hour hiking
and mountain biking trail begins at the Manor doorstep.
